Wow, it's been awhile.  Sorry about that. 

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there.

It's been raining for a few days now.  I feel like we live in Seattle (even though I've never been there)  I got Sara's room painted this week.  It's so pretty, I hope she'll want to come home more often now.  I miss her so much.  Joel moved back home Friday night with all his stuff.  Our basement looks like a storage unit (no longer a family room)

We had dinner by Dick and Arlynn today with the family.  You Indiana, Nebraska and Missouri families were truly missed.  It would've been fun to have everybody.  Dick smoked a turkey and did a leg of lamb in the oven.  It all tasted really good.

I hope you all have a good week.  Michelle is coming Tuesday night.  We are looking forward to meeting her.

I need to make some food because Brian's folks are coming tonight for supper.

 I miss you too, Esther!!!   If you or anyone else comes to visit (or we go anywhere) you have to fly into Grand Rapids, MI because it's a really big pain to get to Chicago right now.  Tons of construction!!! (& gas is too expensive).

I'm home alone a lot lately.  Brian is in his busy season.  Sara's down south and Joel's out east.  UGH!!  I'm excited to have Joel home.  Please pray with us that he finds a job!!!

I go to Sara on Monday night to help her move out of her apartment.  I can't believe she and Joel have another year in already.  Time flies.

Need to get more work done.

Our bedroom is painted! DONE!  I think it looks very nice.  I about croaked when I first started painting the green.  It looked like bright pea soup.  When it dried and soaked in, it calmed down a lot.

Praise the Lord, Joel made it safely to Nebraska.  I hope they all have a good time.

WHAT A GORGEOUS DAY!!!!!!!!  SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ripped off the wallpaper in our bedroom last week.  (I was stressed, so I decided that sounded like a good thing to do.)  We moved the dressers in Sara's room and our bed is in the middle of the room.  That's kind of weird.  I washed the walls 3 times tonight with vinegar water.  Hopefully, all the glue is off now.  I will be painting this week.  I really hate to paint.  Oh well.

Brian is in his busy season.  It's after 10:00 p.m. and he's not home from work yet.  Pretty quiet around here. 

My new job as "Worship and Music Coordinator" at church is going fine.  This is my first week of no Hamilton Food Center.  YIPPEE!!!  So, I need to adjust to this schedule now.
